Camshaft pulley plug?
I am new on here but need some help. I bought a 2001 S40 1.9L and blew a timing belt causing six valves to break. I had the head rebuilt and with help put the engine back together. When we started it we had oil coming out of one of the camshaft pulleys where a plug should have been. What is the true name of this part and where can I find it.
I am very new to automotive work so please be specific.

Welcome. I just saw this so please forgive the late reply.
Behind the intake and exhaust cam pulleys you have seals. You can buy them at several places online.

One the opposite end of the exhaust cam you have another seal. This one is hidden by the cam position reluctor wheel.
However, on the opposite end of the intake cam you have a plug that is inserted after the valve cover is installed. I believe this plug is listed as a "freeze plug" on the website I gave you above. The picture looks exactly like the cam plug I removed.
So, which are you missing? One of the seals or the one actual intake cam plug?
