Hi All,



My wifes Volvo is running badly, and the culprit seems to be a hose that has almost disintegrated. I need the hose that comes fromt he intercooler to the engine in the photo.

I can't seem to get the dealer to understand what I need (or they are being difficult). Does anyone know the part #, or where I can get one of these FAST

While I'm waiting for the part to get here.....being semi resourseful....I got some 1 inch tubing (from Lowes) and some 5/8 inch high mileage heater hose from Oreilly auto parts, and a 1" to 3/4 male-to male ****** connector from lowes to hold me over. It's working fine. In fact, if I can find the 1" hose in the same type that I have for the 5/8 hose, I'll skip the stock part forever, since that type of hose will outlast us all.

Mine snapped in two previously also. I broke down and bought the dealer version thinking no one would make such a specialty hose. Boy was I wrong.

 

I'll probably order it from dealer, I try to get Volvo rubber if possible.

 

 

I found that volvopartswarehouse .com is very useful when looking for odd parts (like the various hoses/clamps etc ). I was able to find the the hose in your pic on one of the diagrams...
