Hi,
I have volvoS40 2005 T5 AWD and my probleme is:rear drive door i cound't open from inside and outside. I took out door panel unplug window regulator take out window panel and door still close.how can I open the door?

The better the title the more likely you are to get constructive help. Just yelling "need help" usually gets you the least response. Try to get a good feel for the problem in the title.

If you go to the top left on the solid blue bar and click on "User CP" and then click on "signature" you can add your cars info. The nice thing about that is you don't have to remember to put it in each time you post something new. It's also nice if your thread gets to be a couple or a few pages long someone doesn't have to go back to page one to find out your engine or transmission or .....

I actually had the same problem with the front passenger door. After removing the Front seat and setting it in the back seat so I could remove the door panel, I removed the push pins (three on mine) holding the door lock assembly to the metal plate behind the door panel. I also removed the glass (so I could remove the metal plate, because the window regulator was attached to it) and was able to get a flat head screwdriver in at the door jamb. I accidentally open it while applying a little bit of pressure. Still don't know how or why it worked but it did !! maybe I allowed some free movement by removing the fasteners that held the door lock assembly in place. Mine had a small plastic part in the door lock mechanism that had broken and basically would not allow it to be unlocked. Wish you luck with it !!!
