I have a 2000 s40 with the radio sc-813. got an alpine add on changer for it, but when installed press the cd button and the screen just shows EEEEE everything is hooked up right, just as they said, but still just EEEE is their a trick to programing it or something? please help, paid alot of money for cable and alpine changer.<IMG height=17 src=smileys/smiley19.gif width=35 border="0">

 

I'm curious if you got this one figured out. I have the same problem and the unit was working fine for a couple of years, then it wouldn't play CDs or even show 'CD' in the display window of the stock sc-811 Volvo in-dash radio. I also have the Alpine 6-cd changer. I e-mailed you earlier with this question, but could not retrieve any response you may have sent. Please resend and copy to my regular e-mail address reidharp@juno.com . I'll get back to you if I figure this one out in the meantime. It's in my wife's 850 turbo wagon and I'd like to listen to the Cd's when I'm in the car. Thanks for any info you can provide.</P>
