Central locking stopped working after disconnecting battery
So, i bought this S40 -02 1.8L and everything was working fine, no issues, changed the VVT, did the timing belt etc etc runs great but then when i loaned it to my little brother and the fuel pump died when i was at a parking area of a store, he decided that it'd be a good idea to disconnect the battery but i said ill go tap the FP and it should come alive for a bit, when i went to remove the backseats he had already disconnected the battery, so i told him to reconnect it since as we all know electric fuel pumps kind of need electricity to work so after a little tap on it we were on our way to buy a new one, afterwards when we parked i noticed neither of my key fobs worked, tested the batteries, had them tested if they sent signal, all was good, plugged in my autocom and it shows two keys should be "paired" with the module and the data shows everything should be okay but nothing happens when i try to use the fob, i can use the central locking from within the car with the central locking button. But i am running out of ideas since i've looked and looked but cannot find any clues as to whats the issue, anyone else experienced anything like this?
