This is similar to other recent posts, but not exactly

When I bought my 06 S40 T5, in order to cut the costs somwhere, I gave up getting the xeon white lights. I really wanted to have a beaming white light for vision, but $800 was too steep. I don't know much about light bulbs, but I'm assuming you can't just stick xeon lights into the current headlight slots. So is there any bulb that I can use that will produce somthing close to a white light that would be compatible with my current slots? Would the sylvania bulb said earlier be my best bet?
