Default Changing Oxygen sensor

I have a 2001 Volvo S40
i had the codes pulled and i was told i need to change the oxygen sensor bank 1 sens 1

i bought a replacement. I was thinking of changing it myself. would anyone know where i would be able to locate that sensor?
i have access to a car lift so getting under wont be a problem i just need to find it, or some instructions

it would be greatly appreciated.

You will change it from the top. If you look down from the back of the motor you should see it in the exhaust. It will be the top sensor.
The wiring goes to the firewall under a long black cover.

So what tools did you use bud? I am thinking of doing this as well. Btw. did you buy an OEM O2 sensor or those cheap ebay universal ones?
