Default Check Engine Light (misfiring)

Hello all. I have owned a lot of older 240's, and had great luck with them. The other day I found myself in need of a used car. I got one from a dealership on crappy finance terms, but hey.... I have a car, and it is a Volvo.....50 foot warranted (end of driveway)

The next day I had a Check Engine light. I stopped at autozone, and the code reader said it was misfiring on cylinder #4.

I did not have much time to look into it, as I work like a dog... I did notice that if I am in park, the idle is fine, hold at about 1700 and it is a bit uneven, 2k and above is smooth.....

I just took it to the store, and when starting it to go home the light went away.... Should I look into it, and if so in what way?

The car has 65k miles, and is a 2001 s40. I am also wondering if I should replace the timing belt in the next couple months due to age......

I have rebuilt engines, have a lot of car experience, but I have no time with working 70 hours a week...

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Edit:Update

I put some Lucas fuel injector cleaner in the tank, and filled it with high test. I had Autozone reset the code. Will see if it comes back. I was going to get plugs for it, but they only had the Bosh double platinum which they say is the closest to the original plugs. I read that those are not good. They did have Bosh copper singles, which I think I read are ok, but going to do some more research before grabbing them.

I still would love some feedback on my questions above.

I'm curious too. My #3 had a misfire and engine light came on. It ran great, so I cleared it, now waiting to see if it comes back.

Usually the ignition coils (2 of them) need replacing when you start getting the misfire codes. The coils and spark plug wires live under that plastic beauty cover on the head and they get absolutely cooked from the heat. Mine have never lasted more than 80k miles.
