Default Check Engine Light and Multiple ECM codes

Hi...

My 2007 s40 2.4i Volvo Started making a VROOM sound upon acceleration, then I noticed the AC was not blowing cold air...then Check Engine Light Came on!!

Since it was Sunday, I went to Firestone to diagnose it...The mechanic refused to repair it, but gave me some ECM error codes his computer read:

1300- Mass Air Flow Sensor
400- canister Purge Valve
4310- leakage Detected
4350-Leakage detected Heater
6000- AC relay
6400- Cam Shaft Reset

The mechanic said it could be one thing that sets all these codes off...but he has no clue how to fix this.

He suggested I go to a Volvo Specialist, which I do plan on going.

Regardless, I'm eager to go educated to the specialist, any ideas what may be going on, if its something I can do myself? I am pretty handy on DIY work!

The car is not overheating..rpm is normal....I do worry because I Transport my pregnant wife with this vehicle...

Thanks in advance

I've seen low voltage cause all kinds of problems with the newer Volvos. Check your voltage at the battery for ~12 volts before engine start and ~14 engine running.
