Clutch
Hi
Can any one tell me if the clutch is adjustable. The biting point is very high. There is no problems with it apart from that.
If its not then i will have to have a new one fitted. How easey is it to to myself ?
Thanks
Mark

My dealer told me that it was self adjusting but I was kind of skeptical.
I used to own a camry but I guess this might not apply to S40 but anyways
I looked under the dash where the clutch pedal. I had to move the seat all the way to the back and tried to fit my upper body and my head to get close to the bottom.
There was a bolt or something that I had to unscrew with my 12mm wrench and then I grabbed a rod (that goes in towards the engine compartment as you press the clutch pedal) with some tool that I had and I twisted it one way(a couple of times). After that, I pressed the clutch pedal and it was way off so I twisted the rod the other way. At this point, my clutch engagement point was right where I wanted.

The only thing attached to the S40 clutch pedal is the push rod into the master cylinder and that is not adjustable.
