Default cold air intake

Hey, I was considering installing a K&N 57i cold air intake on my 2000 s40. The hose will come down under the bumper, has anyone installed one of these? I'm afraid of water being sucked into it...I'm hesitating whether to do it or not. Some people say it won't unless your driving through a foot of water, but what about going fast on a highway when it's raining? I've read some things saying to just not drive at all if it's raining...that's not an option. Let me know what you think.

You would only suck up water if your going through like a foot of water or more. How often does that happen?

Going down the highway when it is raining wont be an issue either.

I don't know of anyone who has installed this kit. I have never seen it isntalled either.

Good luck.
