coolant leak now no brakes

hi i have a coolant leak where i lost all the water i have stopped the leak now my brakes do not work right can any one help

Tell us what year, engine, trans, mileage etc. More information is better than less.

Lost all coolant? Who fixed it?

I can not see the relation between the two problem unless someone thought that the brake fluid reservoir is the coolant one and as it was empty filled it with coolant.
