Default Cooling Fan . . .

Can someone help me ... I have a 2000 S40 . . . In the last 24 hours when I've been driving my car around for a bit and I turn it off, there is a fan, I think the cooling fan, keep running for a little bit afterwards .....

Has anyone had this happen before? It's never happened to me an I'm a tad concerned about it.

Thanks!

Cool

your maf sensor is screwed to the air pipe right beside your airfilter box you cant miss it. It doesent sound as if it is going to cause too much trouble the same use to happen to my last car and i had it 2years, it didnt happen all the time just ocassionally in hotter weather. To be on the safe side keep an eye on your water and coolant levels and see that there is no drop in them ok!!!!

Well, the other day I accidently ran my car without the MAF plugged in, and when I stopped it, the fan continued running until I plugged it in again.

Just a suggestion.
There is a how-to clean the MAF on s40concepts.net BTW. It's pretty easy to do.
