Cylinder Misfire 05' s40 2.4i
Hello,
Question regarding my misfire on what i was told on Cyld. 1
my car started running really rough, and the engine was vibrating at times, i knew it had to be a misfiring cyld.
autozone says the misfire is on cyld. 1, however when i changed my spark plugs cyld 1 looked ok, and cyld 2's spark plug had oil on the threads, and only on the threads leading me to believe the coil pack is staying protected...
could this be a ignition coil pack issue? a crank firing sequence sensor? why would there be oil on cyl 2 while the sensor in 1 is what triggered??
any help guys? i am in a bad way...
btw... the misfire isn't constant... there are time (2% of the time) where i can feel all five firing...
thanks,
