I have a 2006 S40 and it was just fine this morning. Tonight I went out to start it and It wouldn't turn over. I check the battery connection and it was fine. Even tried to jump it and not even a click. Now I don't think it's the battery. Internal lights work. Strange thing is when I have the key in "on" position, the wiper starts and does not shut off. also the alarm light is blinking faster than normal. Anyone now what this is all about? Thank you.

Usually the battery, try disconnecting it for about 15 minutes, connect, and jump again. see what happens.
