I have a 2008 Volvo S40, trying to replace the dome lights with LED bulbs. The front dome and map lights look to be wedge bulbs with blue bases, but I can't find direct replacements for the blue bases, and the existing wedge bulbs have the wires pulled through the bases and soldered into place, so removing them is a pain and replacing them seems to not be entirely possible. Has anybody done this before and what do I need to do with them?
