Default dual overead cam?
I have a 2005 S40 2.4i.

- Is it a dual overhead cam?

- If yes, does that mean that it has 4 valves per cylinder? i.e. two intake and two exhaust?

Yes on both counts. With 5 cylinders it can get expensive to replace bent valves.
