Default ECM 61

I have a 2001 S40 and about a year and half ago I replaced the vvt hub and solenoid on the extended warranty. The engine light came on again now, got it checked at a local garage and it's giving me the same code. The mechanic recommended I go back to the dealer to see what they say. The dealer says that obviously it's not covered under warranty as my extended is finished and that it has been over a year so parts are not covered either. He told me that they would have to diagnose it again at $119/hr as the problem could be something related to the parts changed but not the actual parts. Is that possible? The mechanic that checked it at my local garage told me that ecm 61 is related to those parts and can't be anything else. Who should I beleive? I change my oil every 5-6 k. What should I do? Is it normal for these parts to be finished in a year and a half already? ...........Thanks............

My program for the code is messing up and I cannot open it. Is the Cam sensor ok?

Like I said i changed the vvt solenoid and hub about a year and half ago. Now the dealer wants to diagnose again at 119$/hr and do the whole process over again. The ebgine is not running rough. Is there any danger on running the car with the ecm 61 (odb0015) code?

If everything is running ok you should be fine. But the cam sensor might be causing it as well.
Low oil pressure could also set the code.
Does the motor have alot of sludge in it?

If you have any bit of low oil pressure it might throw the light from that.
