Evolve sucks big time. Do not waste your money. Spend the money on a real ECU upgrade. For example, IPD | RICA. Even go for Upsolute or SpeedTuning USA.

But not EVOLVE. They just suck IMO for everything they sell.

However if you do get it, it shouldn't mess with anything on your car.

Call IPD and see if they can do anything for you.

If you did any sort of research you would have found in the LINKS thread that a RICA chip can be bought from Viva Performance.

Also I am sure if you GOOGLED, "RICA ECU TUNING" or something similar you would get results as well.

Sorry if I sound blunt. But after being on Volvo forums for at least three years now the simplest question need not to be asked when a little searching is in order.

Well do you want a company that is a good ECU tuner or one that isn't.

It is about quality rather then quantity.

I would go RICA over EVOLVE any day.

Plus if you do a dyno with A/F ratios before hand and send those to RICA. RICA will be able to better tune your ride. Also if you do other upgrades to the engine and do a dyno with them with A/F ratios and send those to RICA they can then do a remap with an even better tune for your ride.

So be sure to dyno your car stock with A/F ratios. Send these with your ECU to RICA. Let them do their thing and you wil get your ECU back and will be good to go.

Once you decide to do lets say an exhaust with a downpipe and new catback dyno the car after those mods are installed with A/F ratios and send the results and the ECU back to RICA for a re-tune and you will be even happier.

I suggest going custom with the catback and downpipe. Also you are going to see the most Hp gains with a downpipe.

I would go 3" mandrel bent downpipe to a 2.5" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing muffler like Magnaflow.
