Evolve is really getting beat up here.WOW. Sure they make crazy claims that never seem to based on truth but that is the Sema mentality.

Their software was tunned by Powerchip wich although not as good as TME/Rica in the world of Volvo. It is still quite good and safe, plenty of people are using and happy with the product. They also make a few other performance enhancements.

As far as IPD in the World of the S40/V50 they are as useless as they come, no chip tunning is available unless you have Marco ( TME ) personally tune your car in Portland Oregon. They are also working on a soft loader but the R will be first priority so who knows when software for your T5 will be available.

Stay away from BSR i had their product loaded and it made my car run very poorly.

Heico has just launched a soft loader which i believe is already available. They are pricey but are also a good proven tunner and you will be able to flash back and fourth 93 octane/stock/vallet. Also if the dealer flashes over the programing there is no need to send the ecu out.

Rica is a good tuner. My S70 T5 was done by them and 75000 later sold it with no issues in sight.

My S40 AWD will be tunned by Heico next summer their soft loader option and customer support has been great. Ipd would be my second choice if they ever decide our cars are worth the R&D. Rica third but i wouldn`t want to deal with the process again. Evolve same thing, not willing to ship my ecu out.
