Has anyone bought one of these ECU "black box's" off of e-bay that say it increases your cars hp. it claims it raises it 25hp more and takes the speed limiter off.

 

Do not do it, repeat do not do it.

Go with a better company that is known to chip volvo's. RICA ($800-$900 something), IPD ($900 something), EST ($500-$600 something), Upsolute ($400 something), SpeedTuning USA ($325)

RICA remaps are $100, SpeedTuning USA is FREE remaps (However you have to spend the money to either ship him the ECU and to have him ship it back and or drive to his shop and have him do it for a $50 labor charge.
