Default Electrical problem

Hello All,

While jamming my son's bike into the trunk of my 2002 S40, I yanked the trunk light out. So I just attached the cables again, but it wouldn't work, nor would any other interior light. So I replaced the fuse, knowing I'd be forced to re-set my radio once I removed the fuse box, but now my radio won't even turn on, my alarm won't activate, my automatic locks won't work, oh, and the lights still aren't working either. What do I do?

Which fuse did you replace? A check through my books shows more than one could have gone to lose all the things you did.

I replaced the 15Amp one...I think it was Number 8.

In the passenger compartment fuse box check fuse 7 - Alarm - 15amp and fuse 9 - audio, accessories - 15amp.

In the engine compartment fuse box check fuse 9 - central locking, alarm -20amp and fuse 10 - audio - 15amp.

Problem Solved,

It turned out to be the #8 Fuse under the hood. I was just too stupid to push the trio of 8,9,and 10 in all the way. Once I did that the lights sparked right up. Thanks for your help.
