My light information light comes on sometimes just ramdomly and the gauges go all the way up then down and the message says. STS brake Fluid something it. i never have enought time to read it because it doesnt stay on. like something is loose. Any thoughts

 

Sounds like something is loose! Oh wait, you said that. Behind the instrument cluster are 2 connectors that provide all the info and power for the cluster. If you ever have to replace a burnt out bulb you have to pull the cluster free of the dash. Those 2 connectors cannot be reached with your hand. You physically pull the cluster out until they let go. I could easily see 1 coming loose. I would suggest removing the plastic surrounding the cluster, then removing the 3 screws holding the cluster secure. Then pushing the cluster to reseat the connectors. It's free so it's worth a try.
