Greetings all,
How do I find out which engine variant I have in my 2005 S40? I'm trying to buy some O2 sensors for it but don't know how to determine if it is the B5244S4 engine or the B5244S7 engine?

a few ways - 1) look for a sticker on the timing belt cover 2) look for a build plate under the hood. 3) use a VIN decoder.
Spoiler - if your 6/7 digit in the VIN is 38, you have the S4, 39 is the S7. The S7 is the SULEV+ Cali edition of the 2.4i
