I'm trying to replace my muffler with a Magnaflow oval center/offset muffler. I went to their website, and several google site to try to find out what size I need to order, but my car comes up with no results. I know a universal will fit, just not sure the stock inlet size. I have a 2008 S40 2.4i. Even went to some local shops, who didn't seem to keen on assisting me. Any help on the size of my stock exhaust pipes would be greatly appreciated.

It's something like 2.25" or 2.5". It's pretty easy to get under there and check.

If you buy the parts from the exhaust shop they should help ya out.
If not, find someplace else cause you won't want somebody working you car that doesn't want to.

 

Or, do a muffler delete, run a y pipe, and get 2 tips.
