My car's A/C was not working, so I took it in for a freeon recharge. The mechanic said that I had lost freeon due to the fan clutch not working. The fan was easily turned free hand. I have found a replacement fan clutch for around $38.00 plus tax at Autozone. How difficult is it to do the replacement myself? Does anyone have diagrams, instructions, list of tools needed etc?
Will I need to replace any hoses, compressor, etc. to get the AC working after replacing the fan clutch?
BTW, I have not had any engine overheating yet, but fear this will soon happen as the temps continue to climb outside.

 

Uhh isn't there a 240 section?
