Default First gen power passenger seat?

So I asked around on a Reddit forum about this because I wanted to know if the first generation (1995 to 2004) had a power passenger seat as an option because its something I'm interested in. I was told that it wasn't possible but then I came across this site which showed that it was.

https://www.copart.com/lot/70004341/...9t-ca-antelope

So was this done aftermarket or is it indeed possible to have an S40 with a power passenger seat?

2004 is an odd year since it has both the Gen 1 "2004" and the Gen 2 "2004.5" which requires using the VIN in many cases to know which parts apply. You may want to call around to a recycle yard like Erie VoVo to see if a) they have a seat that fits your trim color and b) if they have the specific wiring harness required. Then you may need to search for a wiring diagram specific to the 2004 Gen 1 to see if it has a connector listed. That's not to say that a 2000-2003 model has the same harness... Maybe you can get a copy of VIDA to research more or ask a dealer parts dept to do you a favor and check.

I will do that. But I just wanted to know if the 2004 model year (not 2004.5) could have possibly came with a power seat from the factory. Was that a factory option or was this an aftermarket job? I want to know if back when the car came out in 2004 (not 2004.5), you could have one with a power passenger seat?

The question is, did it come as a factor option when it was new? The 2004 version, not the 2004.5 version.
