Default How to tell if my 96 850 turbo had power passenger seat

I bought it 9 months ago, the passenger seat won't move. There was what turned out to be a WRONG side switch assy on passenger side (part # tells me it came out of a 98/99/00 S/V70 and it's not compatible with a 96 850 turbo) also the passenger (powered) seat has cables spliced and cut up underneath it. It appears that neither the seat or the switch assy came with my car. If this power seat was original to my car, it should have the green plug that the CORRECT switch assy would plug into. BTW there is a cable coming up out of bottom of car, but it MAY just be for the heated seat. This cable is NOT spliced or tampered with, it has a white 7 pin (I believe) connector with a green w/red stripe wire, a grey w/black stripe wire and a couple black wires coming out of connector. This connector DOES connect to this wrong seat and the seat heater works, but it's impossible to tell if it would power the seat because all the other wires are such a mess. At first I thought prev. owner was trying to repair original power seat, by replacing switch assy and powered seat, but possibly couldn't find correct parts, and took these parts because they were the right color interior and looked close. Now I am wondering if he was trying to replace an original non-powered seat with a power seat and tried splicing wires and gave up. My question is, Is there a way I can tell if this passenger side is wired for a power passenger seat? or just a heated manual seat? I bought the correct power switch at junkyard today, but can't test it becuz this is not the right seat that it goes with (no green connector under this seat). I was going back tomorrow to buy the power seat, but obviously I don't wanna waste the money if this car isn't wired for a power passenger seat. I just want a fully working adjustable passenger seat, I don't even care if the color matches. I am assuming some of these came with a heated but not powered seat, right?

Sorry so long, trying to give as much info as poss. REALLY appreciate any help, thank you!!

Also, this car was FULLY loaded, has almost every optional (non-standard) feature, which makes me think it may have come with a powered passenger seat.

Look for power seat connector(s) on the passenger side floor.

it appears the wires I described coming out of bottom of car just power the seat heater. I found a manual seat in a 97 850 at junkyard in that fit and works perfectly, thanks

the power seat wiring is very simple for the 850s, its just a large gauge power and ground wire, thats it. The seat does the rest. Just look for the plug with about 14 gauge wire.
