Can anyone recommend replacement floor mats for a S40? The one I just bought didn't come with the floor mats, so I need to buy some. There are a lot of choices on the old internet, but hard to tell if they are really 'custom fit' given they all say that.. There is two little rubber protrusions that it appear the floor mats go into so that they don't shift, I want to make sure the replacement mats look good, and fit properly!</P>

Your best bet would be to buy certified Volvo mats. Seeing as the S40 is in production, it should not be hard at all to go to a Volvo dealership and pick up floor mats that are guaranteed to fit. Buying from a secondhand source, unless you know exactly what ur wlooking for, can be hard and not what ur looking for. Even if you dont buy Volvo brand mats from a dealership, it couldnt hurt to at least look at what they have and go from there.

another thing you could do is ebay. i use ebay to buy oem parts for my car. i see floor mats all the time so im willing to bet that there will be floor mats both generic and specific to your car, some oem and some aftermarket, either way, there will be mats there that will fit your car.
