Freeze frame data mystery.

Freeze frame data mystery.
Engine B4184S2, 1.8 litre non turbo non GDI.
Been doing some cleaning and forgot to insert the IACV harness which caused the ECU to throw a P0505.
I took the opportunity to look at the freeze frame data and my code scanner reports short and long term fuel trim data for bank1 and bank3.
Since this is a 4 cyl. engine I thought it only had bank1.
Can someone explain why I see data for banks 1 and 3?

When using freeze frame data you need to look at what PIDs are being generated to see how they map to the OBD2 codes (ie generic or proprietary). sometimes there's extra data thrown in there that may be mislabeled by your scanner (since you don't have a bank 3, the question becomes what data is that value representing - ie the rear O2 sensor? some manufacturer specific usage? noise? Does the scanner show the raw data for you? Check out http://obdcon.sourceforge.net/2010/06/obd-ii-pids/ for some reading when bored :-)
