Fuel Pressuare Test

Hello, and Thanks in Advance, I need to check the fuel pressure in my Volvo. Will a standard fuel gage pressure tester work? Or do I need a special one or any special tools? Thanks

There's a schraeder valve (like a tire) on the end of the fuel rail that you'd need to connect into. The FP should be in the 40-50 psi range (some variance by model and FI systems)

You might want to add a location to your profile.

If you have an autozone or oreilly close to you they have loaner tools and you can check out a fuel pressure tester that will do.
