Gearbox/transmission
Hi all,
My DMF broke, and I replaced it with one from a V70. My S40 is a T4 1.855cc, and the V70 had the 2.0 120kw engine.
After the replacement the car does not star. Does the DMF have a different pattern for the Flywheel pulse sensor. The car cranks over but it does not start.
I tried researching it but did not find any direct answer. Apparently the part numbers are comum to both engines.
Cheers,
Daniel

Ok,
Update:
I got it to start. I still don't know if there is a diferente pattern regarding the DMF, but disconnecting the flywheel pulse sensor the engine started. I got a check engine light on, but the engine started.
I will be replacing the sensor with an original one. If that does not work I will try using one from a V70.
Cheers,
Daniel
