I have a 2005 Volvo S40, and I want to put a roof rack/load bars on it. I've done some research and found two basic options: get the one Volvo sells, or get a 3rd party system by Thule. Actually, I've learned that the one Volvo sells is secretly made by Thule anyways, so I'm really asking which is better?

Thule has a new system, the "Traverse" system. I can't figure out what system the Volvo one is part of. The pictures seem to suggest the Volvo system is a little sleeker. Has anyone had experience with either?
