Hi guys. I have a 2007 Volvo S40 with a manual transmission. I have recently noticed a grinding feeling in the gas pedal when I make a sharp turn at very low speeds - like when parking. The clutch is usually depressed, although I don't know that that is relevant.

Anyone have any thoughts? Could it be worn brake pads?
