Just bought a 2000 s40. Love it so far. 30k miles. I am hearing a gurgling sound under the hood when I come to a stop. I thought I read about a turbo issue but can't seem to find anything about that on my searches on this site. Any info would be appreciated. Love Volvos!

 

If it's just a gurgling sound, maybe the coolant level is low. Just a thought and very easy to check. Does the gurgling only occur when the motor's running ... or will it continue after you shut the engine down? If the latter, then maybe it is the coolant.
