Default Hard to start 2000 S40 after tune up and iac valve change.

My car wouldnt start. I did a full tune up and IAC valve change and now its hard to start (when cold) but runs like a champ when started. I can get it started with a little work but it isnt firing right up. Any feed back will be greatly appreciated. It does have a new air filter, full of gas, and gas treatment in gas. The fuel filter is about 18 months old. When changing the fuel filter do you need to vent the service valve or is that not mandatory?

Thanks.

It is just plugs. Coils and plug wires are not maintenance items.

So the result of your "tune up" is your car is now hard to start.

What plugs did you install?

Were the coils and plug wires Volvo OEM or aftermarket?
