Default headlight problem

I just recently changed out my headlights to the ones with the black bezel for my 2002 s40 1.9t. I have a problem with the passenger side one. It doesnt seem to be fully lit. both the high beam and low beam seem to be on but dim. the left one only has the low beam on. when I turn the high beams on, my left one lights up as it should and the passenger side turns completely off for low and high beam? Am I missing something? I checked the connections and everything seems fine. help??!!!!

Usually the ground is screwed somewhere close to the lights.

You might also want to try checking a wiring diagram and make sure none of the wires for the new light are different from the old one.
