My headlight wiper is stuck in the upward position. Is this easily fixed or is it an expensive repair?

I just had the same problem, was told by many that its the motor for the wiper, more than likely it died...but you have to go from underneath the car to check it out...i ve just been lazy so i took both of the wipers off until i have time to take a look...

Have you tried tightening the nut under the flap of the pivot cover. It may have worked loose and therefore not gripping the wiper arm to move the wiper back and forth.
