headlight wipers for a 2002 Volvo s40
I have a Volvo 2002 that I am repairing and the headslight wipers are a problem.
I know they do not work, I know that I do not need them. I do not even want them to work. But it is ugly just having two holes there.
Is there some type of s40 Volvo headlight wipers or equivalent that just look good, do not work, but can easily be put on the front of my s40?
I just cannot have holes there. That is uglier than having headlight wipers that should work, but do not.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Have you considered trying to obtain 2nd hand wiper motor units from a dismantled vehicle that are operable or check the wiring for a fault.
I personally think they look good and and are, appearance wise 'true Volvo'.
Mine do still work okay fortunately despite them not geting used much.
I do recall seeing headlight wipers/motors etc a while back on ebay.
On the basis of you take them off, if you remove both the motors with their shafts completely you should be able to get rubber grommet plugs that fill the holes left so it at least looks tidy?
