Bought a2003 S40 3 wks ago and when I start the carand put the fan on 3 or more, it makes a screechingsound. Since I got it ,it's been pretty cold so I don't know if it makes this sound on
warm days. Once the car starts to heat up, the noise stops. Is this something to be concerned of?

Hi i have a 2001 s40 and recently cleaned the air filter to the cabin air, there were leafs and everything stuck in it, I was.nt having the same problem as you but maybe there is something stuck in your filter,
its an easy job to do yourself just 3 screws here is a link to apost that i learned how to do it from
