I havea 2004 s40, I found the following websites quite useful

You just have to do a hell lot of readings for mods. There are several groups on facebook too. I've created one for the Toronto chapter, its called Toronto Volvo Club.

 

for s40 tuning phase 1 & 2 which is the years 2000-2004 you should visit s40concepts.net...if you ahve any questions just shout.

-ECU upgrade
