Have 2001 s40 that got ditched, broke upper radiator hose and shut off. Now it wont start, it turns over, has fuel pressure, fire at the plug, and good compression. would this upper radiator hose busted have anything to do with problem?

 

Give the little fuse box in the engine compartment the once over. Those little tiny fuses can blow for the slightest reason.

Are there any codes stored?

How did the upper hose break? You think the engine moved enough to damage it? If so then there may be something else pulled loose.
