yesterday ..heard clicking when i started the car,,thought it was starter, but changed the battery and it seems fine now...when i went to turn on the radio,,factory volvoradio,,itasked me for a code,im the 2nd owner of the car,,tried oooo, 1111 ,,1234 and than now it says off,,,so cant get into the radio system,,,how can i get my radio,cd player to now work,,,strange,,,

Three wrong codes and the radio is programmed to lock you out. You must now leave the radio switched ON and the ignition in position 1 for at least 2 hours. It should then go back to CODE. Don't guess, you could be on for the rest of your life. Contact a Volvo dealer, you may have to pay a visit, and ask for the radio code quoting the Vehicle Identification Number. The dealer will be able to give you the correct code free of charge. If the radio is not the original then you will have to pull it from the dash and quote the serial number that is on the radio to get the code.

 

Thanks for the info..will give it a try...also not sure but is it normal with the car off, to see time on and kilmotres gauge on..not sure if this was on before..thanks
