Hey. I have Volvo S40 1996 and I was wondering how can I fix this thing idk wat it is called I'll attach similar picture.

 

the 96 never came to the states but the console looks to be the same as my 2000. The circled area is where the trip computer/ambient temperature (ie air temp) is displayed which is an optional feature so it may not be broken per se. Dunno how you'd add the feature.
