hi all, any one got an idea on how much boost my standard 1999 s40 t4 should be running???at the minute its running about 0.6 bar is this what it should be running at?i dont have any problems to my knowlage at the moment i just wanted to know if this was correct.thanks in advance.

 

If I am remembering correctly 1Bar is almost equal to 15PSI. So 0.6 Bar is half of 1 Bar basically so around 7-8PSI give or take.

Now I know the T5's and R's where the HPT (High Pressure Turbo) models in the Volvo lineup. I don't know if the T4 is a HPT model or not. Lets say it isn't for right now 7-8PSI or 0.6 bar sounds about right.

 

the t4 has a mistu 14t turbo which is high pressured compared to the standards 12t, the 14t can run at 12-15 psi...
