Default How to turn off dash lights, DRLs, taillights when engine on

Kinda annoying to other patrons at drive in theaters. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What year is your car? 2004.5+ has to be disabled with a software load.

For earlier...
From memory, I hope it's correct:

lightswitch to parkinglights

key to position II (all the dashlights light up).

Pull the turn-signal-lever towards you.
keep it in that position.

lightswitch to 0 (lights off)

Release turn-signal-lever.

I think that's it.

Mine is 2004.5. So, I guess it's a dealer visit for me.

Why would your car be on in a drive in theater anyway?

Because, in order to hear the movie's sound, the radio must be on. Can't turn the radio on without having the car's power on and with it, all these interior and exterior lights. Also, in Florida, even at 10:00 at night in September it's still 90 degrees. Air-conditioning has to be on, at least some of the time.
