ICM (Information Control Module) NEED ONE1
Hey i have a 2007 s40 2.4i
I need a new ICM unit( the little screen where the radio it...) mine cracked any one know where i might be able to get a new one?? the dealer ship said not to bother getting a used one because each ICM is mothered in to each car. But what i dont under stand is that the dealer want to charge me over $1,000 for a new one!!! So how is it that they can program a new one and not just re program an old one???
Please let me know i am in need of this piece asap!!!

As far as re-programming an old one,im not to sure.
The new ICM is 650.The software is another 65 dollars on top of the 650 to program it to the car.
I do know that if you wanted a used one,there are a couple vin splits that I see that would hamper looking for another one out of "any" S40.The other car would have to be in the same vin split as yours to match the ICM.
