Default Immobilizer issue

we have a 2005 S40. they key will not release from the ignition. The immobilizer has been activated. Apparantly the spare key was had fallen under the drivers seat undetected. So I believe the immobilizer was triggerred because the 2 keys were 2 close together. The car will start and turn off but the key is locked in the ignition. Anyone know how to reset the immobilizer so we can get the key out of the ignition?

You are not immobilised, your car starts!
Your car thinks you are not in park. Try teasing out the lock button on the gear shift.
A little lubricant will help.
Good luck.

Reset the battery as well. Unplug the positive(+) red cable for bout 30 seconds then plug it back in completely this worked for me when my key got stuck in the ignition.
