Hi all,
Today I finally replaced the three bulbs in my climate control unit (2001 s40) and they look great. However, when I put everything back together I realized that the Info Center was no longer lighting up which it did before I unplugged it to take the dash out. The info center works fine, it cycles through all settings and the reset button works, however, it just no longer lights up.

So my question.. What could be causing this could I have done something wrong or is it just my luck the the bulb happens to give out now

try disconnecting the car battery for then reconnecting after a bit. I recall 850s having a similar issue with the LCD displays in the cluster. You may want to search the board for those posts to see the write ups on the exact fix...

 

Also check your fuses just in case it's the easy stuff
