Has anyone out there looked into custom intakes for new body style s40. My wife and I just bought one and i've already want more power. We have the t5, so i was thinking that a intake and exhaust would be perfect. Any ideas or comments would be great! Thanks.

I've already looked into intakes. K&N filters seem to do the best, well, really, depends on where u live. I live in Canada, in the prairies, so, i deal with a lot of dust and... bugs ? Anyway, particle polution calls for a oil based filter. K&N's well known for that. Any 'mushroom' filter works well. Only problem i've heard of and can imagine is overheating from the intake, as its taking air from near the engine block. A cold Intake System is a must. HKS Mushroom filter works well if ur not worried about dust (Dust seems to tear them apart), there's 2 sizes for them, don't know which fits. AFter all, i'm just a 1.9T turbo engine. Lots of room when u remove the intake ducts
